What a winter we have had so far! Finally got some much needed rain and hopefully this will set us up for some real good fishing in the months to come.

In the last month we have had some real good days on the water. The key has been to catch the right day in between the cold fronts. It is usually best about two days after the front has been the best because you gain some water back and the water temperature rises. The best bait has been the corky devil and the pearl color has been the best. Plastic bass assassins have also been doing well jigged slow off muddy bottoms.

Let’s catch some fish!
