Fishing continues to improve as the water temperature has been rising steadily. Also, the tide is still relatively low and as we gain water the fishing should improve even more. We have still been catching trout on soft plastics such as plum Bass Assassins on 1/16 oz jigheads. Drum have been very plentiful on fresh shrimp
on bottom or under a cork as we have been catching them over shell and on shorelines.

The bite on trout has been better this year than last and hopefully this is a sign of what's ahead.

I sure hope so also. Trout have been biting in Hudson and some black drum, Not many redfish or snook but they will come. We just have to patient.
