I'm trying to learn how to catch fresh water fish. I live on a lake that have huge Carp!! I've tried allot of different things and they won't bite. I know they ate the algae from the bottom...any ideas? If you know, please let me know. They are pretty big and I"d love to catch one. Thanks.

I don't fish carp but chumming with corn and then using a few kernels on a small hook works. I've heard small cherry or grape tomatoes work. I've caught carp incidental to walleye fishing on nightcrawlers. I once caught one on a white maribou crappy jig. Good luck!
