Went fishing last night in Sydney Harbour so we could watch the lights turn off for Earth Hour. A most glorious night for fishing - calm, light noreasterly breeze. My biggest problem with night fishing is you can't see the ones that get away. Hooked something monstrous and just about had it in when it bit me off! I still don't know what it was and it's driving me crazy.

happened to us aswell, at western port bay, was using 80lb leader, got bitten off, didn't get to see it, changed to 150lb wire , not one more touch for the rest of the day. Don't you just hate that...
