just a reminder that there are no big Red Snapper off florida's east coast... what a crock! this was one of two nice snapper caught on wed. out of port canaveral. we also caught 9 or so Aj's between 28 and 45lb.
Caught 20 snook( all below slot ) yesterday plus two big trout around 7lbs each in Titusville. I saw plenty of slot and over slot fish but just couldn't convert. So much for this season.

What is your ideal day of fishing; what method and species to go after the most?
I am a seasonal fisheman. from late fall thru early spring I bottom fish (grouper and snapper). and in the late summer thru early winter I chase snook at sebastian inlet. I fill the rest of the time with mosqito lagoon redfish.
Hi Grayson, the best time to fish for Yellows is June thru Sept sometimes depends on the water. The cost of the trip aboard the Thunderbird was $135 overnite, some boats less, some more, depends on where you catch it and if there are some deals. Boat loads are pretty low and going during the week is better! Hope you make it out here as the albies, bluefin and yellowfin are within 1 day boat catchs today!
