Well got back last night from Morehead City. Fished the Redfish Action Championship event and as usual had a blast!!! I really encourage some of you guys to come out next year for some of the Redfish Action events. I assure you if you come to just one event you will have a blast! Capt Lee goes way out of his way to make it a great time for everyone involved. Wow just got back from the IFA Redfish Tour event in Charleston, SC... Bad weather, winds blowing 15-20 w/ 25 gusts and rain.. It was a rough trip... Weather was horrible, We got down there Wed night to pre-fish. First day out I took a couple waves over the bow of the flats boat and I think water got in the head of my trolling motor. After that I only had about half power for the rest of the trip. Also we were headed up a creek the first day and the connection to my depth sounder shorted out.…See More

Well not much of a report... got out after work. Headed out to some flats and found not much of anything! Water temp was a cool 49 which probably explains a lot of that. This weekend should warm the water up some though. Early next week looks good if the wind will hold off. Water temp should be up and Mon / Tues have mid day low tides to heat up those flats! Hoping the wind will be slack in the late afternoon and I can go beat on some fish! I wont be out on the water this weekend, my daughter's…See More

Hey everyone, new to the site here. I live in the Wilmington area, and I am in the Coast Guard. I fish an Action Craft 1720se. I compete in the IFA Redfish Tour and the Redfish Action series. Hoping to get started with a little fly fishing this year! I will try to post fishing reports here as often as I can.
