Gulf Stream. April 17th, 2010

Left out of Shellman Bluff at 4:45a.m. 15mph SW winds at the dock....bad sign, but spring fever makes bad decisions easy to make. Steady 4-6ft confused seas all the way out to 70 miles. 5-7 from then on. 5 dolphin (1 38lb bull we pitched a squid to right off the boat). Water temp 69-70.9. Fished the triple ledge, 160-280ft depth range. All but one fish hit naked ballyhoo pulled on weighted jig head double hook rigs.
