Gary, You didnt ruffle my feathers. Im sorry if you think I was talking to you or about you. I was just commenting in general. Ive tried to educate tourists and usually get ignored or told to mind my buisness if i mention that running an outboard in…
I agree Grayson. It took me my entire life fishing this area to find the good spots i now know of. Sorry if it sounds mean, but im not willing to give up my spots to a bunch of snowbirds and transplants. Its bad enough when im out there stalking red…
Hey there :D I saw your comment about getting a Tarpon 120. I just got one and LOVE it!!! I think it's perfect, not one complaint, but everybody has different preferences. Just thought I'd say hello, and if you have any questions about it feel free :)
Thanks! Yeah, it was a bummer that the shark got it cause it was my first one but it was pretty cool too. I hooked a 2nd one half an hour later so it was all good.
HEY...! This interactive tool on SWI works well for us members...!!
Just found a "sister" site [ I think must be pusblished by same folks ] called www.freshwaterindex.com . Have joined that group too as I fish for black bass on Toledo Bend here in Texa/Louisiana. Have fished for blacks in Florida as well on Lake Okeechobee...The Big "O".
Look it up. I thinkthis site is gaining some frehswater "fans" in Florida as well. After all, Florida is THE place for lunker category bass.
I take a trip to Florida every year and visit friend if mine in Ft Lauderdale who does deep sea charters, but I would like to try some shallow water trips for reds and snooks. Got hooked on this skinny water stuff when fishing in Belize and haven't done it again in a number of years.
Your profile didn't indicate whether you were a guide or not, but I am writing because I'm a died in the wool lure fisherman. Can't stand the "pot licking" [ live/dead bait ] routine. If you know any guides who are skilled in lure fishing only trips, please let me know.
