Delacroix, LA 8-1-2009

Went down to the fish camp in Delacroix over the weekend and fished Saturday with my dad and future brother-in-law. We got up pretty early and were out before sunlight. We had live shrimp as well as croakers but I mainly fished with an artificial all morning. Tried to find some trout but they were NOWHERE. It was crazy. farther south is the katrena reef tends to hold lots of white trout and reds from time to time you can get good specks on live bate.

do you know where a good boat ramp is in delacroix. the last time i was there i could not get my boat out.
