I haven't heard anything much this week but we did well last weekend at Westpoint (near Seattle). Reports are posted daily on SaltPatrol.com.

Chris, We run two tournaments a year out of Palmas De Cortez which is the flagship VanWormer Resort. They have great boats. I like the El Loco 1 & El Loco 2 but there's a bunch of great boats and crews there. Eddie Dalmau from the resort…

Sounds like the action is heating up. I've been checking out the reports on John Kiezers newly updated website, www.saltpatrol.com. I figure we'll see some action there.

Larry, I think you've got the right idea staying at Puna. It's nice and secluded over there. I look forward to giving it a try someday. Palmas is nice if you've got ladies with you. I don't know anything about available sailboats…

Hey Mike and Paul, Thanks for responding to my post. Nice Dorado on your profiles. I guess I should try the other Van Wormer resorts but have just got into the habit of going to Punta Colorada for the past 10 years. It is a little cheaper and I do…

Hey Larry, We fish out of Palmas De Cortez. Punta is nice. I love fishing the beach over there. We're heading down with about 10 guys for a little mini tourney in May. I'm in Fairbanks in business this week and I'd sure love to trade…

We haven't been out but the few reports we've gotten indicate that it's been slow. We figure it should start picking up any time. Spent the whole day working a show at Auburn Sports and Marine but didn't get any good dope on the…

Thanks Rhonda, That's little compared to the ones we get in May. We'll be back there in late May and I'm getting pretty excited to chase big Dodos and Rooster Fish.

Hey Mike and Paul,
Thanks for responding to my post. Nice Dorado on your profiles. I guess I should try the other Van Wormer resorts but have just got into the habit of going to Punta Colorada for the past 10 years. It is a little cheaper and I do like being out away from town. My friends and I always rent a jeep when we go, and do some exploring between fishing days. Enjoy going up to Agua Caliente, a hot springs up in the mountains, and found a great little cafe in some village on the way there that has an elk head from Tillamook, Oregon mounted on the wall. Strange. One year we drove down to Bahia San Louis Gonzaga, had a great time and enjoyed the adventure of driving down. Didn't get the big roosters and dorado, but it was a good trip. We want to rent a bare bones sail boat and sail/fish from east cape or further north into Sea of Cortez. Heard of anything like that?
Good luck on your trip.

Hi Paul,

You must be friend with John Keizer. I saw the SaltPatrol web link. Do you fish in Puget Sound?
