- Catching all you can thats legal. I hire Capt.Jon Cooper (Dive-Version), whatever is in season.

Wishing Captain Jon Cooper a quick recovery

It all happened over the weekend in the Bahamas, Capt Jon Cooper, was with a group in the Bahamas. They went spear fishing. Something happened (I don't have the whole story) but something wrong happened and Captain Jon Cooper was attacked by a shark. (I believe it was a reef shark) The shark got spooked and he (Capt. Jon Cooper) was attacked. He found his way (somehow) to Jackson Memorial Hospital located in Miami and is recovering as we speak. So here's to you Captain Jon Cooper, I (we) hope… Continue

June 27, 2009, (6 girl team): Rebecca, Kit Kat, Dolphin, Cindy, Silo and myself Cookie aka Patricia G Perez and (1 captain), Captain Jon Cooper. Started out about 7:30am and headed out to the ocean, about 8:08 am, we see some action, a fish jumping out Capt. Jon Cooper, turns the boat over to the action and within minutes he had 3 of the girl hooked with a dolphin that quick. My pride and joy was a Mako shark off Marina del Rey in California.
I fought that fish for what seemed forever, and then when I got him close to the boat, my partner went to gaf him by the tail to pull him closer, and the fish somehow coiled like a snake and jumped and bit the steel gaff right under where my friends hands where. It was just incredible how he bent it completely.
I will be posting some of my pictures when I come back from vacation, I had some real prices. Sailfish, Marlin, Rooster, Pike, Barracuda, Tuna amongst many.

I just read your story , and it was awesome, that is some dolphin you caught, I've had my share in Baja and in Hawaii, but nothing as big as that 48 monster you caught.
Nothing beats a great day of fishing, que no?
