"yeah..... the people that own them beach houses there were complaining of too much noise the pier brought... which is bs.... cause no one is usually home at them beach houses. so the pier is gone."

"Sad indeed. I drove past the pier last week and there was no sign of it. Not one single post...I was dismayed, loved that pier...caught my first limit of specs there. Also saw some monster specs....the elusive giants. Great pier, will be missed."
