Is the Kingfish bite still on?? I fished out of Perdido pass in late June and caught some for the first time. It was so much fun. Usually fish for reds and specks inshore out of Bay Saint Louis.

Our camp is off Chapman right near the Bay Marina. We get our bait there. Great owners, really nice. We were all geared up to be in their fishing tournament last year but the weather kept us from going out. We sometimes hang out at the bar. The last time we were there we road our bikes. We usually fish along the edges of the bay or in the Jourdan River. So far we've caught flounder, reds and trout. I also caught a nice size black drum. We have a spot in the north side of the bay near the chemical plant. We've caught most of our fish there. The bay and river are different from LA. marshes so we're still trying to learn how to fish the area. Any suggestions?
