Ventura Area Shore fishing

Posted on May 28, 2010 at 12:18pm 0 Comments

Hey,
Anyone been fishing off the rocks or beach in or around Ventura? I was supposed to go out on a 3/4 day boat today, but it didn't have enough people...
Anyone fished the Channel Island Harbor off the rocks or from the beach lately? If so, what techniques have been doing well?

Thanks

Marc

SB Harbor

Hey all, I am going to give the SB Harbor and or Beach near the Yacht club a try for Halibut and or perch one night this week. Any tips on getting the Halibut to bite? I heard good things about the green and silver Krockodiles a shot... Are swimbaits worth a try as well? Also, any particular spots around there that seem to do well this time of year?
Thanks.
