Would like to charter a sailboat, barebones, to fish/sail from east cape across Sea of Cortez and back. Anyone have any information or advice?

Larry, I think you've got the right idea staying at Puna. It's nice and secluded over there. I look forward to giving it a try someday. Palmas is nice if you've got ladies with you. I don't know anything about available sailboats but the owner of the BajaSmokehouse, Chris Moyer could probably help you out. You can find him on Google under that name.

Hey Larry, We fish out of Palmas De Cortez. Punta is nice. I love fishing the beach over there. We're heading down with about 10 guys for a little mini tourney in May. I'm in Fairbanks in business this week and I'd sure love to trade some high 80's for the -10 I'm dealing with here.

Larry, got your message. I usually stay in Los Barriles. Most of the time at Playa del Sol, one of the other Van Woermer properties. I will be heading back down there again at the end of May. Occassionally we'll stay at Palmas de Cortez or Rancho Leonero.

I would have to agree on your comment about the changing environment down there. I sort of hope the slow economy here slows some of the development down there as well.

thanks for dropping me a not.

Mike

P.S. - That is a HUGE rooster!
