Hey folks You should look at my website tips page on fuel issues. It is gunna get worse and more expensive on all us fishermen. The E-10 and up coming E-15 fuels means the fuels contain 10 to 15% Ethanol. What does this mean??? Ethanol attract and produces water in your fuel system, this is called (Phase separation) This is very costly to all of us. There is a link on my website where you can purchase an additive to help in stopping this.…See More
He Don I bet that thing can got shallow HA HA Water is still muddy here and lots of wind So thats ok because I have been busy with the biz and if it calms I will want to go fishing and can't.
Lenco tabs are the best, faster response, easier replacement parts also easy to trouble shoot if problems happen. May I suggest if you are buying new add the extra money and get the auto retract installed also. Money well spent.
Boy do I agree, This wind is bad, the water is muddy and above that the place I see tons of Redfish you can't fish at. Port Aransas Ferry landing, Both sides has I mean TTTTONS of reds just every where and they won't let you fish there.
I ran out today for a couple of drifts, The water is very muddy from all the wind. I made 3 drifts casting soft plastics then gulps but only caught 1 under size red finally on a gold spoon in a short patch of somewhat clear water.
Living on the water, I did not buy a trailer for my boat. The dealer was on the water and promised to take it out as needed. Well, that dealer has gone out of business and the new dealership probably will to, but with a charge. Oh Well, cheaper than buying and storing a trailer.
So to get to Chris' I would need to borrow, rent or buy a trailer. I do plan on talking to him someday though. My wife has a sister in Portland. I told her that I would drop her off there and go on to Port A.... So we'll see if that ever happens..
The dealer here has a 2008 HPDI 150HP for sell, but I think he is asking too much for it. (He now sells Evinrude). Then after your advice on that engine, I am rethinking it
As my engine is runs fine, I do not need to hurry...
John, I have 155HP Yamaha on my boat. It's a 2003 I think with about 200 hours on it. My boat is rated for 130 to 150 hp.
I am thinking Yamaha as that is what is on it.
Is there a market for a used 155hp.
