thanks man....the last big trip i had in aug 08 a mate and i got 200 barra for the seven day trip...all tag and release for Q.L.D. suntag.The pic of the barra I am holding is about the 70lb mark and about 1.35m. saltwater wild barra caught 3km from the mouth of one of my favourite rivers in the gulf, was hooked in 6ft of water with 20lb snieder line on a 125mm halco aussie gold and took 45min to land,( steady ,steady. ) tail walked on strike and will never forget.
Looks like you have good fun with the river fishing, the bream and flathead are great.good stuff.....
