"Hey Joshua Don't know much about Beverly Harbor but next door Salem Harbor has public launch at the Salem Willows good fishing in and around the Harbor plus the willows has a nice family friendly scene with food etc. just a thought as a back up…"

Great pics of the linesides - those photos are enough to get the adrenaline running rich. There surely are some great fish coming back. Last year I posted (4) fish over 40lbs fishing live mackerel. Although the abundance of bait was a treat - there was too much. Soo much bait results in finicky fish. As far as I'm concerned, when you need to "work" to find the bait - the big bass are more susceptible to the hook. Just a thought. For bass I only fish live bait. Typically on a drift fishing humps w/ down lines over the rock piles...typically 100' depth. The occassional balloon on a hot summer day with a swimmer is always fun too. Making a jont to the NW Corner in the AM - I'll be sure to update my blog if you're looking for a report.
