My thoughts on when to fish is, every chance you can. You will never catch or learn a thing about the area while sitting in a recliner. If nothing else the exercise and view is always worth the trip. Right now is the time to explore, low boat traffic. Gulp Pennie Shrimp, under a popping cork is always a staple at the coast. If you google Brunswick County all the campgrounds will come up.

I have never paid a guide to take me fishing, because I am out there to enjoy the time. I think that is a lot of the problem today. Everyone is in such a rush to do this or that in thier lives that they forget to take a moment and enjoy some time doing whatever they find relaxing. That is what I do when I go fishing is relax if I catch something GREAT but if not I still enjoyed that time. Just remember that is why it is called fishing and not catching. And enjoy it!!!!

Fishing from a kayak is awesome. When you catch they try to drag you around. It takes a little tecnique but you will find that its a very fine experince.

i don't get to fish that often, but when I do get out I'm usually with Brian Laney. I've learned a lot from him in this area.
