The water starts warming up in the East Cape in late May, good dorado/marlin/tuna from then thru summer and fall. Saw your "best day ever", excellent except for the Tecate. Got to be Pacifico!

El Budster is a great charter boat fleet. See www.elbudster.com. They also have a great video of a roosterfish show on their website that we produced with them.

I dont know what itis called, but middle banks don't sound right. I do know that there is three unmanned platforms in the area....it is a spot we call Zebco 1....funny story about that...

I have actually caught bigger snaps.....I love snapper throat meat! Makes a mighty fine sandwich! That fish was caught inside state waters, about 8.2 miles outta freeport! I remember seeing triple X blasting past us while on our hole!!!! I will try to post an album that will blow your mind. The boat I was in at the time of the photo was a 27' Pursuit, sold it to tow boat U.S.! MY b.i.l. lives behind the sugar mill in sugar land and we fish behind his house...I caught a fish that looked like a piranha, sharp teeth and his mom let it go...
