Michael this is my first time down fishing last trip just drove down to see what the Navy base was like. I will be in my RV and staying on the base for now going to get out on the water and chick things out I will have my little CraigCat with me on…
On my way to the Keys for 2 weeks.
Fishing Report Im at an RV Rally in TN at this time. A buddy here lives at Weldon on the River the stripers are running . They got over 100 one day.
Wind it just about blew us away up in NC today be down in FL in about 2 weeks.

I did, in fact, carve those fish. When I started getting ready for retirement, I got into carving for a hobby. I had been turning bowls on a lathe for some years but wanted to expand. I did a fish for a friend and, while he was pleased, it really wasn't accurate. They say you can't carve what you don't know so I started going fishing which indirectly led me to this site. I also carve other things, mostly as gifts for my former students (academic children). If you are on Facebook, friend me and you can see the range of things I play with. I'm not really very good but I have a lot of fun.
