Redfish Bay Redfish
Redfish continue to bite good on the flats in the Aransas Pass-Port Aransas Texas area of Redfish Bay. Reds are biting good on perch, shad, and mullet. Some big Trout are also mixed in with Reds in Sandpockets. Speckled Trout are holding on the outside shorelines and drops of Aransas Bay and Corpus Christi Bay. South Texas Bay and Flats Fishing
Fishing continues to get better as we get into the Heart of May. Weather has been spectacular. Redfish are biting on the flats of Redfish Bay using Piggy Perch, cut Shad, and Mullet. Speckled Trout are on the outside shorelines using Live Croaker. Some of the Specks are solid up to 28" mixed in with average sized Trout. Trout fishing will get better over the next couple of weeks. Speckled Trout Baffin Bay-Upper Laguna Madre-Land Cut
Speckled Trout are biting good on the Rocks in Baffin Bay, Land Cut and Throughout the Upper Laguna Madre. Soft Plastics are working and Topwaters are also producing Trout. We are catching some huge Trout on some of our trips. Live Shrimp is also working rigged under a rattle float fished on the rocks and sandpockets. Speckled Trout Fishing South Texas
Our weather was great today. Mild temperatures and nice breeze. Speckled Trout are starting to bite in the Aransas Pass-Port Aransas area of Redfish Bay, and Corpus Christi Bay. Specks are also biting good in the Upper Laguna Madre on down to the Land Cut area as well. Redfish are still good in the Redfish Bay complex using live shrimp and sealice fishing potholes.
