What is your ideal day of fishing; what method and species to go after the most?
On the water before day light. Fishing for snook in the lagoon after the hard rains. The snook gather in numbers to feed on fresh water baits that get pushed through flood gates releasing fresh water into the salt water lagoon. It can be epic snook fishing when the bite is on. Top water baits are extremely deadly on the "Big Snook" when the spillways are open. Working the lures along the canal banks and watching as the fish explode on the lure, hooking up for the fight of a lifetime with a 20 or 30 pound snook. "Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it"!!!
