Florida West Coast

Big tarpon are rolling all around the local beaches in the Venice-Englewood-Boca Grande area. They have been very cooperative this season. Boca Grande pass is still loaded with Tarpon but don't forget to try a little bottom grouper fishing in the pass while you're there. My son pulled up a nice Gag Grouper weighing 12 pounds while drifting for Tarpon. Offshore has been incredible.
