hi anthony how you doing, i am more that happy to tell you where i got my bass, i live at south west rocks which is an hr drive from port macquarie. i do all my bass fishing on the macleay river in the township of kempsey which is halfway between sydney and brisbane, most of these fish were taken using the biggest black jointed jitterbug i could find, the guy at the tackleshop said the lure was to big, my theory.... big lure big fish!!!!!

Tony, you may want to try as little lead as possible so as the bait drifts down, you may pick up more than you think. We do this when fishing for snapper and kingies on the banks down here.
