say does anyone kow if they will ever repair the San Luis pass fishing pier?
I only went once before IKE and caught seom nice specks there

It doesn't seem so. The website is permanently down and all the workers left. I believe much of the land supporting the bait house, etc. is under water.
No, and it is so sad...... I heard they are not going to rebuild.
If this is true this is really sad. I did a lot of fishing there, it was a great pier, I will truly miss i.t

Sad indeed. I drove past the pier last week and there was no sign of it. Not one single post...I was dismayed, loved that pier...caught my first limit of specs there. Also saw some monster specs....the elusive giants. Great pier, will be missed.
yeah..... the people that own them beach houses there were complaining of too much noise the pier brought... which is bs.... cause no one is usually home at them beach houses. so the pier is gone.
