I caught 2 nice ones off the surfside jetty a few days ago. One was about 6lbs. fishing close to the rocks with live shrimp and split shot wait. Bite was around 10am-2pm

It's probably cheating, but my husband gigged four nice flounder in Redfish Bay Thursday night/Friday morning (he couldn't sleep). I'm looking forward to some fresh flounder when I'm over the flu.

I have the same question. but I want to know where and on what can I catch flounder in Sabine lake? I am new to this area and want to learn where and how to fish this lake. I have fished the lake with no success, only the jetties.
