Comment by SPencer MM on April 7, 2011 at 4:54pm Yeah, I was looking at the one at Walmart. Not sure if distance will be an issue or not. I'll be starting out with it on the Surfside Jetty probably, then get into the surf when I feel comfortable with it.
Everytime I tried a spincast as a kid I backlashed the crap out of it. I'm 47 now- the technology probably wasn't very kind back then. I have some mild vision issues now, and fooling around with a birds nest is just not something I think I can tolerate.
It has good adjustnents, but the new Shakespeare is the only one I know of that has that type of qualifications. I 've never tried one, but a few of the reviews sound positive. I think you lose distance with the EZ cast, but it would be a good starter.

Does that H2O have the feature that helps with backlash? That is a concern of mine.
