Hi, from Murrells Inlet SC. We've been fishing at The Pier in Garden City and the tides have definitely turned. Early March we getting mostly sharks and skates, then late march and early april the whiting showed up. Late may we were hitting lots of spanish mackeral, blues and green backs. Then for at least 3 weeks, nothing. I've seen very litle caught and of no size. A few sheephead on barnacle, and now we are back to sharks and rays. We've used shrimp, cut bait, barnacle, and sand fleas. Any suggestions on what should be hitting? Also, like in fresh water, during spawning the fish won't bite. Is this a possibility?
