Goin out tomorrow to see if I can get some early season Stripers in Matunuk.
Skunked. Water temp still too cold. Need another 5- 10 deg or so.
Thanks Rob, Good effort. Soon..............

Ben
We have been going out the last three weeks - lots of exercise - no fish!
Hi Marie,

I am in the same "boat", so to speak. I know they are now in the bay. I have done some casting with plugs. No dice......so far. Keep the faith.....any day now.

Tight lines,

Ben
Bigger stripers showing up inshore. Plus, talked to a captain in Narragansett, they stuck a 60 lb bass off Block Island earlier this week, saw the pics, big damn fish.
Wow. Sweeet news, Rob. The Block is alway red hot at this point. Went out in the boat off Brenton's reef. Lots of fish, lost a nice one. Wrong time of day...will try again! They are here...wish we had brought some bait. Ha.

Keep in touch,

Ben

PS: Had my Jamestown Stripers Club meeting last night. The old salts really know their stuff....heh,heh.
