Ok guys, I need some hot spots around Southport and Oak Island. I would love to hit some inshore areas for dolphin and kings, and have a back up for specs, drum and founder when the weather is too bad to go out. I really would like to have some back up spots to try after I exhaust my short list of spots. Thanks in advance. Ron

Keith Kessler and Family from Lynchburg VA fished with Capt. Keith Logan of Feedin Frenzy Charters on 8/19/2010 on a Backwater Fishing Charter out of Holden Beach NC. We found a good school of Red fish in the 14″ range. We caught about 20 Red fish before a storm come up and we had to go back to Old Ferry Seafood to wait the storm out. Then we headed back to the area we found the Red fish but they had stop biting. So we move down to the next creek and found a few 20″ Keeper Red fish. The Blue fish were also biting good too. We caught a few small Flounder too. We here using Gulp 3″ Minnow Grub in Pumpkinseed on Carolina rigs and the new Gulp Ripple Mullet Chartreuse Pepper on 1/4 oz jig heads.
