We are an outdoors club up in Poplarville. Most of our members fish out of La Frances but some are from the Lake Charles, LA area and know it quite well.
Hello Mississippi Folks, I am new to Saltwater Index, just joined this morning. Been fishing the Western Mississippi Coast and the Southern La Marsh for most of my life. Presently fish mostly the from Isle a Pitre to Biloxi Bayou. As of last Oct. I now have a place in Pointe A La Hache and spend alot of time fishing from there on up to Delacroix Island.
I grew up in Gulfport and now live in Ocean Springs. Grew up fishing the LA marsh and had a fish camp on the Jourdan River until Katrina blew it away. Fished the Rivers and bayous over there in Hancock County all my life. Now I am over here in Jackson County and love it but not very familiar with the waters. I have a 22 foot Famous Craft center console with a 200 Mercury 4 Stroke. My dad has a camp over in Delacroix and we went over there on Saturday. Fished really hard but nothing to show for it. A couple decent sized reds and that was it. Couldnt buy a trout yesterday. Would love to find some good spots over here in JC.
I grew up in Laurel but I have been transplanted to Atlanta ..... still fish mostly out of Mary Walker Marina in Pascagoula
