We scouted the South Channel area off Tybee Island Ga, Sat. High Tides, and muddy water. My first time there in a boat. We may have found a couple of drops for later. Going out sun. to try again...but to our known drops we have worked before. 1 short red, 1 croaker, 1 yellow tail

Me and a friend are going towards the wassaw this weekend. I am determined that after all the bad weather we had last weekend I will catch something if I have to dive in with a harpoon. We went out to cockspur island on saturday and hooked up a nice trout and a small red and then....................here came the rain.

made it out sunday, being a charter Captain and Eco tour guide for some out of towners. They did manage to catch a few trout, flounder and sharks were everywhere, with one hook up and it got away. Good time in the Wassaw Sound.

had good action at grays reef saturday, lots of sea bass, hooked up with a 10 ft. hammerhead, saw a tiger shark roughly 12ft. long, and caught a nice cobia, 42" long, weighing 25-30lbs. water was very clear, you could sea 20-30 ft. down from the boat.

Will it ever stop raining?? Has to be too much freshwater in the creeks and they are very muddy. Only managed 1 red and 1 trout.

My son and I just got back, (07.03.09) One nice trout and one 20" Red. We landed about 15 Reds total, but most were too small. Fall should be great over here. Live Shrimp under a popping cork.
