I'm going to heading out to Pine Island in a couple of weeks at the end of March. Had no luck with redfish last year but caught a few trout. Does anyone know how they're hitting out there lately?

I have found that this site has a good number of guides posting fishing reports. I haven't been down to the sound yet but the Sarasota reports (my area) are generally pretty good with what's going on.

Good Luck!

From what I have been told the fishing is great there, trout, redfish, cobia, flounder are all on the bite.
